Payanam Thodarum 5.0 marked a significant milestone in the journey of the series. Presented as the fifth edition, the production received the support of MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd., elevating the platform to new heights for Malaysia’s promising teenage talents.In a landmark achievement, the production was featured on Astro and broadcast on 31 August 2024, providing the young performers with national exposure and recognition. This unforgettable experience became a defining moment in the artistic journey of many of the singers.
The same year also witnessed the launch of the official theme song, Payanam Thodarum – My Anthem, symbolising the spirit of perseverance, passion and the continuous pursuit of artistic excellence that defines the movement.
Further strengthening their professional careers, the participating teenage talents were registered with the Recording Performers Malaysia (RPM), enabling them to receive performer royalties for eligible recordings. This milestone reflects Payanam Thodarum’s commitment not only to nurturing young talent but also to empowering them with opportunities for long-term growth and recognition within Malaysia’s creative industry.
